Spheerol BNS 2 is suitable for the lubrication of bearings at high temperatures, such as soot blower bearings, in carriages for hardening, drying in tunnel ovens, also in bearings of bitumen mixing plants, cranes in foundries, etc. Spheerol BNS 2 can be used at a temperature range of -20ºC to +150ºC, and for short periods at a temperature range of up to +220ºC. Frequent re-greasing or grease change should be considered subject to application requirements.

Product Description CASTROL Spheerol™ BNS 2
Castrol Spheerol™ BNS 2 is a non melting grease for the lubrication of plain and roller bearings at high temperatures. It has no drop point. This grease is based on an oxidation resistant, thermally stable base oil and an inorganic thickener.

In order to minimise potential incompatibilities when converting to a new grease, all previous lubricant should be removed as much as possible prior to operation. During initial operation, re-lubrication intervals should be closely monitored to ensure all previous lubricant is purged.
