Castrol EDGE 5W-40 Turbo Diesel should be used in engines where maximum efficiency and protection is demanded. Castrol EDGE 5W-40 gives you the confidence to demand maximum engine performance from today’s performance engines that operate at higher temperatures with tighter tolerances, requiring lower viscosity oils. Castrol uses Titanium FST technology.

Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 C3 is suitable for use in automotive gasoline and diesel engines where the manufacturer recommends an ACEA C3, API SN/CF or earlier specification.

The Alpha SP 680 is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. Castrol Alpha SP 680 may be used for the lubrication of spur and helical gears and in some lightly loaded worm type gear applications. They have very good viscosity characteristics to ensure starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions.

The additives in Alpha SP 680 are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units. The Alpha SP 680 is compatible with the most common types of seal materials.

The Optigear Synthetic 800 range is especially suited to reservoirs and circulation systems operating at high temperatures because of heat generated in severe service or high temperatures in the application. Although well suited for all types of gearing and bearings, the Optigear Synthetic 800 range is particularly effective in controlling wear and reducing friction between sliding surfaces.
