Properties

Applications

Adrana A 2859 is suitable for heavy-duty machining operations on aluminium alloys, low & high alloyed ferrous metals and stainless steels in individual machines and central systems.

The oxidation of copper present in certain aluminum alloys is the cause of black marks which appear quickly after machining with soluble oil. Is there a product to avoid this problem?

The problem probably lies with the emulsion used. If it has too high a pH then it can cause black staining. What emulsion are you using? Please send us a Technical data sheet of the product. It is not being solved with an anti corrosion product, because the harm is mostly caused by the emulsion being used or the poor remaining quality of it.
