Application Klüber Paraliq P 12

PARALIQ P 12 and P 40 can be used for machines in the foodprocessing and pharmaceutical industries requiring medically pure oils, e.g. spindles, joints, chains, gearwheels, plain bearings, pistons, guides and tubular tracks. The oils can also be used for corrosion protection. PARALIQ P 12 can also be used as a heat transfer oil in enclosed systems in the food-processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Application KKlüber Klüberalfa DH 3-350 N

Klüberalfa DH 3 N can be used for the wetting of metals and synthetic material parts of various configurations. Due to their good material compatibility, these products should be your first choice for the vehicle interior. Application examples: – Contact surfaces with different material pairings in the dashboard: minimisation of unwanted noises – Impact, rubbing and sliding points inside cars, even of various material pairings – Sliding guides in the centre console, cup holder, navigation screen – Locking mechanism of trays, ventilation flaps, etc. General behaviour towards plastics and elastomers Perfluorinated polyether oils are generally regarded as neutral towards elastomers and plastics (possible exception: highly fluorinated rubber). Despite this, prior to a series application, the compatibility of the lubricant with the material with which it is to come into contact, must be confirmed.

POLYLUB GLY 151, 501, 801 prevent stick-slip to a large extent, particularly in applications where normally a hydrodynamic lubricating film cannot form. Gears Small electric gears with plastic-metal friction components, manual gears operating at very low sliding speeds. Pneumatic installations Pneumatic valves and cylinders with and without piston rod (for these applications, the upper service temperature should not exceed 130 °C). Seals Lubricating and sealing grease for various types of seals. The POLYLUB GLY 151, 501 and 801 lubricants are also suitable for many other plastic components subject to wear caused by relative movement against metal or plastic surfaces. Owing to good damping properties, especially of POLYLUB GLY 801 and 501, noise is considerably reduced.

PARALIQ 91 is used as release agent for baking tins and moulds in the food-processing industry. The lubricant can also be used as high-performance needle and sinker oil in textile machines as well as for deep-drawing or bending of packages for the pharmaceutical and foodprocessing industries. This special oil is tried-and-tested as release agent for moulds in blister machines used for the deep-drawing of film (bottom film).

Klüberfluid NH1 4-005 can be used as a barrier fluid in mechanical seals operating under inert gas conditions. Mechanical seals have been used in mixers, driers, mills, kneaders, reactors and pumps in the chemical and the pharmaceutical industry for many years. Klüber Lubrication offers a range of oils that were especially developed for use as a barrier medium in mechanical seals. The more the seal is stressed in terms of pressure, speed and heat, the lower should the oil's viscosity be. For naturally circulating barrier fluids, the selected oil viscosity is normally approx. 5 mm²/s, as is the case with Klüberfluid NH1 4-005. Which type of barrier fluid should be chosen depends on the type of seal elastomer as well as on the application's process conditions.
