To be mixed with water to make a solution suitable for application. See tables on next pages. The mixing water should have low hardness. If not available the use of demineralised or distilled water is recommended. For use as secondary cooling, or heating, in the food and beverage industry. For use in closed cooling systems, including those where there is a potential for incidental food contact. STRICTLY NOT for use in applications where direct contact between coolant and food itself, either packed or unwrapped, will occur: e.g., not for use where food is immersed in coolant for rapid chilling. PLANTOSYN 68 HVI

Environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluid and lubricating oil based on saturated synthetic esters

PLANTOSYN 68 HVI field of applications:

PLANTOSYN HVI oils are rapidly biodegradable synthetic saturated ester oils. They can be used in all applications in mobile and stationary hydraulic units where the use of biodegradable synthetic ester based hydraulic oil according to ISO 15380 HEES is recommended. The PLANTOSYN HVI products should be used where oil leakage or oil spillage will give a soil or water pollution. PLANTOSYN HVI products can be used as an alternative to conventional HLP/HM hydraulic oils. The changing over procedures according ISO 15380 have to be observed.

Properties

Grotanol SR 2 is efficient against microbiological accumulation (bio-films) in systems and has an excellent immediate efficiency against bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Additionally, grotanol SR 2 has anticorrosive and low-foaming properties.

High concentrated and free of water.

Effective even in very low use-concentrations.

Usable for all steel-, copper and aluminium alloys.

Suitable for low to medium alcalic medium (pH 8 - 11)

Contains no organically bound chlorine (has no effect on the AOX value).
