High performance, GL-5 axle oil for limited slip differentials
Shell Spirax S3 ALS 85W-90 main applications:
- Suitable for heavy duty vehicles, including construction machines or buses, and passenger cars which are fitted with limited slip differentials.
- May be used in other moderate to heavily loaded gear sets that will allow use of a friction modified, hypoid gear oil.
- Specifically suitable for ZF units including Liebherr where a limited slip fluid is required.
Shell Spirax S3 ALS 85W-90 oil is blended for use in a wide variety of automotive axle units with limited slip differentials including many ZF units.

Shell Spirax S3 G 80W is a mineral automotive gear oil containing multi-functional additives required for mild extreme pressure conditions. Shell Spirax G 80w-90 is also known as Shell 80w-90 or 80w90 or 80W/90.

Spirax S2 G are essentially for the lubrication of manual gearboxes of passenger cars and commercial vehicles operating under high speed/low torque and low speed/high torque conditions. Suitable for gearboxes fitted with synchromesh.Rear axles
